Calculate MadaTrader Rollover

In order to calculate the daily rollover, you need to know the pip value per each instrument pair based on 100,000 unit size. i.e. value per pip based on 100,000 (1 standard lot) EUR/USD is $10.

Example

According to the swap rates above, the rollover rate to sell 100,000 (1 standard lot) EUR/USD is -0.75% daily. This is the amount you will pay.

Rollover = -0.75 x $10(pip value per 100,000 EUR/USD) x 1(lot) x 1(day) = $-7.5

On the other hand, the rollover rate to buy 100,000 (1 standard lot) EUR/USD is 0.65% daily. This is the amount you will receive.

Rollover = 0.65 x $10(pip value per 100,000 EUR/USD) x 1(lot) x 1(day) = $6.5

Formula for swaps:
Rollover = Swap Rate x Value per Pip (based on 100,000 base currency) x number of lots x number of days
