MetaTrader 4 Contract Sizes (Precious Metals)

Our clients can trade from 1 contract to 10,000 contracts without any restrictions. Take advantage of our wide range of trading sizes from 10,000 to 100 million.

Silver 1 5,000

Change of Contract Size

Clients can select trading volume from the Volume Dropdown. One lot is equivalent of 100 ounces of gold or 5000 ounces of silver. 0.10 lot is equivalent of 10 ounces of Gold or 500 ounces of silver.

Example #1 (GLD)

The GLD spot price is 654.95 / 655.45 as shown in the image below. To buy 1 standard lot of GLD, the required margin = 100 (units of gold) / 100 (leverage factor) x $655.45 = $655.45.

1 tick equals to $1 profit or loss.

Example #2 (SLV)

The SLV spot price is 16.572 / 16.632 as shown in the image below. To sell 1 standard lot of SLV, the required margin = 5000 (units of silver) / 100 (leverage factor) x $16.572 = $828.60.

1 tick equals to $5 profit or loss.
